Charlie Kirk's death

I immedeatly saw the clip after it happened. A friend of mine sent it to me, ecstatic and celebrating. Another attempt perhaps? No. Blood came pouring forth and the man dropped dead.

My first thought wasn't: "yay, they killed the fucking guy who thinks people like me don't deserve the same rights as he does!" it was: "Fuck."

But why? It was glaringly obvious. The day it happened on, the place it happened at, the extreme precision of the shot- this wasn't a rebelling civillian. This was all the government. That entire realisation came to me before i clicked off the video and went to whine about how i don't want to see gore for any reason at all, but in reality, i was way more disturbed by the implications of what i just witnessed.

But why kill off Charlie kirk? what use would it have to the government? My First thought was; well likely because he spread some kind of agenda they didn't agree with.

In the end, Charlie Kirk, albeit having somewhat of an impact on a relatively big part of the american youth... wasn't that influential. Not influential enough to get assassinated by the government.

Obviously his death would cause more of an impact than his mildly agitating life.

This was an attempt to lure the public's attention away from more dire matters and it worked flawlessly. opening up social media was insane for the next three days. "Charlie Kirk died" "oh my god he died" "yay he died" over and over again, nobody thinking deeper than those three words. I saw celebration, predominantly from the left. and i don't blame them, i hated his guts too... but christ, Isn't the left supposed to be smart? Figure out that there's something seriously wrong? "Guys look behind you, while you're so focused on making memes about getting shot in the neck, Trump is desperately trying to cover up his deteriorating state, while likely gobbling up everything relating to the epstein files, and probably getting involved in bullshit overseas!"

Not to mention, this is all helping in splitting the public again.
The us vs them mindset is gonna be our death.
